Columbus Dispatch Monday

1. Peruse the connect technology section of your Columbus Dispatch and other sections of your daily newspaper. Please keep the paper together for later class periods.

2. Save to your excel file a link to the main technology article. The dispatch page is updated by 8:30 am.

3. Post a weekend update to your blog.

4. Our sophomores are taking the OGT this week. We will not sprint far ahead of them. You may use the remaining class period to browse the internet.

Please take the time to write in your blog. Practice inserting a couple of hyperlinks into your post of some frequently visited web-pages. The link button is in-between text color and left align. After you have completed your post you may spend the remaining period web browsing. A hyperlink will look something like this. Try it...

2. Search www.msnbc.com and read about google's consideration for offering online storage. Save the article in your weblog excel file.

3. Post a update to your blog @ http://www.blogger.com/start. Search for your time stamp and change it to eastern standard time.

4. You may use the remaining class to web browse.

3. Locate a school appropriate photo you would like to add to your blog. Steps for saving photos are as followed:

-save image to the desktop
-select the add image icon (right beside spell checker)
-browse to locate photo
-upload image to blogger

Practice with a couple different images. Help a classmate if they are having difficulty.

Gabe Albanese Day!

1. Daily news reading is found on the world wide web nearest you.

2. Continue customizing your blog. Select a student in the classroom and create a link to their blog on your page. Post an update to your blogger.

3. At 8:45 we will be participating in the hallway send off for Gabe Albanese who participates in the state wrestling tournament. Much like our own Marcus Geer, who was the first swimmer in all of Union County to qualify for state competition, Gabe wrestles today in Columbus.

March 1 Accounting

1. Open saved journals on liblab/zip250/mr morris/accounting from February 28th, continue in appendix C page C-10.

2. Journalize entries from October 15-22. Save journals to your folder on the z: drive.

3. Check entries against those on the big screen @ 10:55.

1. Read your daily news on the internet. Locate one personal technology article via a news website and save to your excel weblog.

2. Not everyone saved a backup copy of excel to my folder. Please take care of this today.

3. Changes to your blog. Today let's take a look at customizing your links page. Open your blog to the dashboard, together we will modify our links sidebar.
