Read your daily news via the internet. Record one technology article of your choice and record in your excel weblog. NO DOWNLOADING TODAY PLEASE! Use the class period to improve your blog.

1st grading period blogger assessment:

Your blog must meet the following criteria in order to receive full credit.

1. At least ten time stamped posts from the past five weeks.
2. Two links to classmate's blog.
3. Two links to favorite websites.
4. One link to progress book grades.
5. Three assorted comments from your friends
6. Two school appropriate photos. .

For Business Tech, Ed Tech, Accounting and Advanced Tech students. After you have solved the puzzle help your neighbor and then you may web browse. Read all of the information below and good luck with your problem solving! Our golf team is competing in the district golf tournament. I will return to school on Wednesday. Be kind and courteous with our substitute.

This is an IQ tester. The object of the game is to get everyone across the river. This is a test some Japanese applicants have to take when applying for a job in Japan. The odd thing to me is, once you begin taking people across the river, you can't remember how you got them there when you have to start again. Once you begin this test, it's hard to stop. You feel so determined to get these people across. The instructions are listed below. After reading, click on the link. Enjoy! For my business tech students periods 1 & 8 indicate your solution as a post in your blog.

This is going to do your head in, but it can be done.
Apparently this is an IQ test given to job applicants in Japan: "Everybody has to cross the river".

The following rules apply:
Only 2 persons on the raft at a time
The father cannot stay with any of the daughters, without their mother's presence

The mother cannot stay with any of the sons, without their father's presence

The thief (striped shirt) cannot stay with any family member, if The Policeman is not there

Only the Father, the Mother and the Policeman know how to operate the raft

2. Travelocity--Read and answer critical thinking questions.

3. Complete the internet activity on pg. 59 visit www.aicpa.org

4. Answer questions 1, 2 & 3 on pg. 62 audit your understanding.

Advanced Tech (Period 7) Please be cooperative for our substitute.

Students may utilize the PC's for outside work, study and research the entire class period.

3. In your "Blogging for Teens" the first six pages of Chapter 3.

Ed Technology (Period 3) Be courteous and cooperative for our substitute.

1. Spend ten minutes on the http://www.channelone.com/ website.
2. For fifteen minutes proceed with your Type2Learn exercises.
3. You may web browse until the bell rings, no downloads or email please.

Study Hall (Period 4) Our study hall will be meeting in the computer lab.

Lunch A (11:15-11:50)

Lunch Duty I am asssigned to the cafeteria for lunch duty from (11:55-12:35)

Accounting (Period 6) Be courteous and cooperative for our substitute.

Using a blank sheet of paper create 15 T-accounts and label. Make certain the Cash account is the largest. Complete the recycling problem for chapter two in the appendix located in the back of your text (Page E-2). Calculate an account balance for each T-account after you have separated the transactions into debit and credit parts. Write your name on the sheet and submit to substitute.

3. Practice, edit and modify your links section of your blog. If you would like more than 3 links., copy and paste new link lines in your template. You can use your current html text or retrieve it from the "help" section.

4. Students may web browse when work is complete.
